The course consists of individual lessons (based on the textbook Nuovo Espresso 1) and of e-learning sessions in which the students will practice reading, listening, speaking and writing. One-semester course, 1 session of 90 minutes per week in the classroom and 90 minutes per week assignments in Moodle etc. The course is targeted preferably on doctoral students but other students can participate in case of free capacity, too. In case of distant learning the originally planned face-to-face lessons will be realized via one of the platforms MS Teams, Adobe Connect, Zoom (this will be specified according to the current government or faculty/university restrictions.) |

Credits are awarded for: regular active attendance (75%) home preparation assignments in Moodle final test (60%) |

Overview of lexical units: Overview of grammatical units: - subject pronouns; present tense; alphabet; definite and indefinite articles; interrogative words (quando, come, dove etc.); cardinal numbers; regular verbs in –are – ere and –ire ; basic italian verbs (essere, avere, fare, stare, andare, potere etc) ; substantives; negation; prepositions; frequency adverbs; past tense (passato prossimo); past participle; possessive adjectives and pronouns. |
