The aim of ophthalmological study: anatomy and physiology of the eye, basic principles of optics and refraction, diagnosis and therapy of the most frequent diseases of anterior and posterior segment of the eye. Knowledge of basic examination methods of the eye and treatment of the most frequent and acute ophthalmic diseases. Knowledge of eye symptoms in cases of non-ophtalmic diseases, especially in urgent and complicated cases.
