The course is primarily for students of Environmental Protection and Social Epidemiology. The course covers the whole area of general biochemistry and basic metabolic processes. Emphasis is placed on understanding the interdependence of processes in cells with regard to human diseases and the environment.

Přednáška určena primárně studentům oborů Ochrana životního prostředí a Sociální epidemiologie. Přednáška pokrývá celou oblast obecné biochemie a základních metabolických dějů. Důraz kladen na pochopení provázanosti dějů pro chod buňky a život organismus s přihlédnutím na lidské choroby a životní prostředí.
