strong theoretical background about the basic principles of viral expression systems, their possibility of usage for recombinant proteins expression or for production of virus-like particles and methods of their purification. Using virus-like particles as a model, the students gain practical experience with the methods of production (work with cell cultures and recombinant viruses) and purification (centrifugation in density gradients) of virus like particles. |
