Course description & objectives

This is a basic course designed for Mandarin learning students at Pinyin and elementary levels to acquire and utilize Mandarin. Topic and themes we learn are including introducing yourself, family members, hobbies, shopping, food and drinks, locations and positions, time, transportation, leisure, the appearance of people and things description, renting a place, talk about study and work, social life, weather and falling sick.

 

The aims of this course are 1. how to use Pinyin correctly, 2. how to pronounce tones correctly, 3. utilize knowledge and skills we learn in class to solve daily communication problems.

★If the attendance is less than two-thirds, the final exam is not allowed to attend.
