2 semesters course - 3 credits Credits Requirements: • Prior approval from the project principal. • Literature survey - evaluated as sufficient by the tutor. • Data acquisition - evaluated as sufficient by the tutor. • Active conference participation - 2LF Scientific Conference or an approved local conference. |

The organization of the course is as following. 1. Candidates need to first arrange topic proposal with the head of the designated project. https://anatomie.lf2.cuni.cz/en/research 2. Upon selection and approval, students will be assigned into teams. 3. Students will learn how to use the searching tools and navigate through the literature. 4. Students will take part in literature surveys. 5. Students will undergo basic relevant methodology and laboratory training: • Dry bones morphometry. • Gross anatomy dissection skills. • Microscopy in basic morphology. • Data acquisition. • Biostatistics and meta-analysis. 6. Students will carry on the task of data collection and analysis under supervision. 7. Submitting and presenting the research work in a form of a poster presentation in a scientific conference. |
