General theory of inverse problems
Model and data spaces. State of information (probability density, conjuction of probabilities, non-informative state). Information from physical theory. Apriori information and data information. Combining the probabilities. Definition of the solution. Aposteriori information on the model space. Error analysis, resolution and stability. Special cases: Gaussian hypothesis.
Stochastic methods
Trial and error method. Monte Carlo. Integration by a Monte-Carlo method. Metropolis-Hastings rule and sampling methods. Simulated annealing and parallel tempering. Genetic algorithms.
Least-squares criterion
Methods and formulas. Analytical solution. Steepest descent method, Newton method. Nonlinear inverse problem. Linearisation. Conjugated gradients and variable metrics.
Backus method. Introduction to inverse problems on infinitely dimensional (functional) spaces.

Obecná teorie obrácených úloh
Modelový a datový prostor. Stav informace (hustota pravděpodobnosti, průnik pravděpodobnostních stavů, stav dokonalé vědomosti, neinformativní stav). Informace získaná z fyzikální teorie. Apriorní informace. Informace získaná měřením (data). Definice řešení obrácené úlohy kombinováním experimentální, apriorní a teoretické informace. Popis aposteriorní informace na modelovém prostoru. Chybová analýza, rozlišení, robustnost a stabilita. Speciální případy: Gaussovská hypotéza.
Stochastické metody
Metoda pokusu a omylu. Monte Carlo. Integrace metodou Monte Carlo. Metropolis-Hastingsovo pravidlo a vzorkovací metody. Simulované žíhání a paralelní temperování. Genetické algoritmy.
Kritérium nejmenších čtverců
Metody řešení. Analytické řešení. Metoda relaxace. Metoda největšího spádu. Nelineární obrácené úlohy, linearizace, alternativní metody řešení. Analýza chyby a rozlišení.
Backusova metoda. Úvod do nekonečně-dimenzionálních (funkcionálních) obrácených úloh.
