The Combat sports course emphasizes the acquisition of basic theoretical knowledge of the system of combat
activities, and basic practical skills in various grappling sports, especially judo and karate. The course explains
and advocates the importance of incorporating contact exercises into physical activity. The course content serves
as a movement basis for TV teachers and coaches within their competences. The content of the course has

The aim of the course is to gain theoretical knowledge of the systematics and biomechanical structure of preparatory combat activities, the influence of combat activities exercises on the development of motor skills of an individual, and to acquire basic practical skills in combat sports performed in standing and low positions (sitting and lying down).
Upon completion of the course the student will:
knows and can explain the systematics of combat sports.
can explain the influence of the combat activities exercises on the development of motor skills.
understands and can explain the principles of brakfall techniques.
knows how to demonstrate the basic technical means of the selected combat sports.
knows how to correctly use and incorporate training aids (laps) when practising punches and kicks.
knows how to practically and safely demonstrate individual breakfall techniques and combinated falls.
knows and can incorporate various preparatory exercises into the warm-up.

straight punches (tsuki)
