Annotation
The course is designed to allow students to practice English conversation, in an informal setting, on a variety of subjects, both medical and non-medical. Through supervised conversations students can ask questions regarding idioms, grammatical usage, syntax, and colloquialisms.

Kurz je koncipován tak, aby umožnil studentům procvičování anglické konverzace, a to neformálním způsobem, na různá témata lékařského i nelékařského zaměření. V této řízené konverzaci jsou dikutovány problémy vážící se ke gramatice, frázím a kolokviálním výrazům.

Aim of subject
The goal of the course is to create an informal forum in which students can practice English in casual discussions and conversations with peers on a variety of topics; and in an environment which offers opportunities for positive feedback regarding mistakes in usage.

Cílem kurzu je vytvořit neformální fórum, v němž mohou studenti procvičovat angličtinu na různá témata v přátelských diskusích se svými vrstevníky; a to v prostředí, které poskytuje příležitosti pro pozitivní zpětnou vazbu, pokud se týká případných chyb a jejich odstraňování.

1. Students are expected to attend and participate in discussing the topic of the day.
2. Students are encouraged to inquire about new terms and experiment with new terminology and grammatical usage.
3. Students are encouraged to suggest topics for discussion and take leadership roles in managing conversations.

1)Předpokládá se, že studenti budou navštěvovat hodiny konverzace a účastnit se v diskusi na dané téma.
