Annotation -
This course aims at reading and analysing current Czech history and historical anthropology, focusing especially on the scholarly stylistics in this field. Students present and discuss their PhD thesis projects in progress. Along with a discussion of the current problems of historiography in the Czech Republic and abroad, this doctoral seminar aims at providing students with the opportunity to present their PhD thesis projects. While the first year students are focused on defining the objectives of the projects, and on identifying conceptual frameworks, methodology, etc., the advanced student are required to present and discuss their work in progress.

Pro spnění atestace musí studující prezentovat svůj doktroský projekt, další podmínkou jejího udělení je pravidelná docházka (alespoň 2/3 kurzů) a aktivní diskuse na seminářích.
