This is one of the courses of the UPCES programme (the Undergraduate Program in Central European Studies);

The course aims to arm the students with a better understanding of both the socialist past materialized around
them in the Czech Republic in the form of pieces of art, architecture, and urban planning, as well as in its less
accessible forms, e.g., in films and propaganda.
