The aim of the seminar is to introduce the field of practical theology and its particular disciplines and at the same time to practise the methodology of reading and interpreting theological texts.

Credit requirements include regular attendance in class (maximum 2–3 justified absences), the completion of four short assignments, and a written proseminar paper on an assigned topic (8–10 pages).
