CULT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT. A required-elective graduate course dealing with the basic theological concepts of the Old Testament, their sources, forms of expression, and interrelationships, both in the Old Testament itself and in the theological conversation that follows. The course is taught in the form of lecture and exercises (it requires independent reading of assigned texts and their presentation in the form of a paper).

KULT VE STARÉM ZÁKONĚ. Kult jako formalizovaná sociální aktivita, jejímž deklarovaným cílem je přímá komunikace s božstvem, je přítomen ve všech kulturách světa a přímo souvisí s jejich sociálním rozvrstvením. Ve Starém zákoně, který je výsledkem "stýkání a potýkání" kněžských a nekněžských myšlenkových proudů, má kult svou specifickou funkci. Jakou?
Povinně-volitelný kurs magisterského studia, jehož předmětem jsou základní teologické koncepty Starého zákona, jejich zdroje, formy vyjádření a vzájemné vztahy, a to jak v samotném Starém zákoně, tak v následujícím teologickém rozhovoru. Výuka probíhá formou přednášky a cvičení (předpokládá samostatnou četbu zadaných textů a jejich prezentaci formou referátu).
