The subject is focused on understanding the principle of human movement in water, getting to know the physical properties of the water environment and its biomechanical principles. The graduate of the PPLS126C subject will acquire knowledge and skills that will allow him to apply swimming as another movement activity to various fitness programs for any group of people he will work with in his practice. The aim of the course is for students to master basic swimming skills, correct swimming technique, understand the basics of movement load in swimming and become familiar with the basic elements of rescuing a drowning person. The student will learn to positively perceive the aquatic environment The student will acquire competencies that will enable him to work in the pool environment and is able to apply and modify simple basic skills in vertical and horizontal positions. By completing the subject, the student will be able to move safely in the water environment, with knowledge of all four basic swimming styles with competencies that will allow him to create a simple program for his clients.
