Annotation -
The course introduces students to the principles of organizing and managing sports organizations based on non-profit organizations and business companies. It deals with the principles of the establíshment, functioning and termination of both types of sports organizations, their organizational structures and financial management.

The aim of the course is to acquaint with management processes in the sport area in the Czech Republic and also with the principles of non-profit organizations and business companies in this area.

1. Propedeutics of Sport Management

2. Sport environment in the Czech Republic in terms of the work of a sport manager. Non-profit organizations in sport.

3. New Civil Code No. 89/2012 Coll. relating to the conversion of the civic association for associations

Changes according to the new Civil Code regarding other non-profit organizations

Other legal standards related to sporting organizations of this type

4. Sports clubs and physical education units based on the association. Statements of the association, the establishment of the

association.

Organizational structure of sports organization based on the association. The position of the association in the Czech tax system.

Income tax, value added tax, road tax, real estate tax. Marketing of non-profit organizations in sport.

5. Profitable organization in sport. Sports clubs based as a business company. Selected parts of the Law on Commercial Corporations for

limited liability companies and joint stock companies. Organizational structure of sport clubs as limited liability companies and

joint stock companies.
