Both acquiring basic notions of fundamental philosophy with focusing on its anthropological line and grasping the
meaning of philosophical reflexions of medicine is the main goal of teaching of the subject. Students will also
acquainted with central characters of the history of philosophy and with some proper methodological instruments.

1. Students become familiar with basic philosophical terminology. 2. Students study one topic from the course syllabus in depth and write a term paper on it. 3. Students will master the essay form of writing academic texts. 4. Students will be able to present their own ideas on selected philosophical topics. 5. Students can conduct research on selected topics. 6. Students are able to compare their own findings with conventional and/or dissenting expert opinions from the research and eventually argue with them. 7.
