Annotation -
Musical movement education is focused on the cultivation of movement expression and the acquisition of aesthetic and coordination gymnastics and dance skills in close connection with movement and music. It develops the perception of the movements of one's own body through the harmony of the rhythm of the music with the rhythm of the movement. Acquiring optimally rhythmic, consciously controlled movement with music brings additional psycho-social benefits and possibilities to individuals and groups of OSP increasing self-confidence. When practicing with music, specific equipment is used, which helps to develop manipulative skills and acquire new skills. Dances, dance techniques and dance styles expand the number of knowledge and skills field and stimulate movement creativity. A graduate of the course is qualified to create and implement gymnastics and dance exercise programs with music applied for OSP.
