The subject is meant for students of both the 1st and 2nd years of the follow-up study of physiotherapy. It familiarises with Brügger's concept, i.e. with the concept of functional defects of locomotive system diagnostics and therapy. Classes deal with basic theoretical sources of the concept in relation to diagnostics and therapy. Another part is the practical training of therapeutic methods utilised in the concept.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • demonstrate advanced knowledge of the principles of the concept according to Brügger
  • demonstrate skills in the application of diagnostic and treatment procedures according to Brügger with the main focus on the trunc
