The course encompasses student teaching aimed at school track and field athletics and sport training in general. The theory covers school athletics and sport training issues. In their teaching presentation students demonstrate their knowledge of training methods improving performance technique in all individual events that make up combined events, and, methods improving special skills in combined events.

"Předmět zahrnuje didaktickou praxi zaměřenou do školní atletiky a do sportovní přípravy mládeže. Teorie je zaměřena na témata ze školní atletiky a na témata z oblasti tréninku dětí a mládeže. V pedagogických výstupech prokazují studenti znalost tréninkových prostředků pro zdokonalování techniky disciplín vícebojů a tréninkových prostředků pro rozvoj speciálních schopností vícebojařů."

Aim of the course

The course is obligatory for the students of the PES (Physical Education and Sports) follow-up masters programme and for the students of the TSS (Teaching for Secondary Schools) follow-up masters programme. The course focusus on the teaching of athletics in Physical Education classes and the training of athletics.
