Following the course Morphology I, Morphology II focuses on morphological categories of the English verb and on the meaning and function of modal verbs, other auxiliary verbs and phrasal verbs. It also deals with the morphological, syntactic and semantic characteristics of prepositions, conjunctions and interjections.

Cílem je seznámit studenty s pojmy z anglické morfologie a vést je ke zvládnutí morfologických kategorií jednotlivých slovních druhů. Důraz je kladen na srovnání systémů anglické a české gramatiky.

Requirements to the exam

Zkouška je formou písemného testu. Test obsahuje témata z obou kurzů Morfologie, k úspěšnému zvládnutí zkoušky je třeba získat minimálně 70% z celkového počtu bodů v testu.
