In the context of the didactic portfolio and students' experiences with their own proposals for educational activities in a gallery/museum, the course focuses on the theoretical deepening of empirical knowledge: on the open understanding of the multiple functions of images or artifacts in contemporary culture and their perception, on the reflection of animation practices in cultural institutions, and subsequently on the thematization and conceptual analysis of a specific educational model. The deepening of professional reflection on the educational program is linked to the educational missions of the art museum and gallery and the reflection of the links between education in a cultural institution and the possibilities of schools and subsequent creative projects in visual education.1. In connection with personal portfolios, an in-depth study of theories of culture and visual culture. Possibilities of interpretative frameworks and identification of topics with pedagogical implications. Conceptual analysis of the content and structure of the educational proposal in the student's portfolio. Links to the RVP, area of Art and Culture, characteristics of the area.2. Empirical viewer, visual semiotics, intervisuality and diiscursive layers influencing the reading of meaning, significance, and functions of an artwork, contexts, and the plurality of interpretations of a cultural artifact. Examples of good practices and their content analysis. Where possible, some parts of the course may be implemented in the educational departments of collaborating institutions (e.g., U(P)M, House at the Black Mother of God, DOX, independent galleries, and others).
