The course comes out on students' existing knowledge of general didactics and physical education didactics; it focuses primarily on physical education didactics and athletics teaching methodology at elementary and secondary schools. In the practical part of the first half of the semester, students learn how to lead training sessions in selected athletic disciplines. In the second half of the semester, classes are held in the gym and focus primarily on preparatory games used in teaching at primary and secondary schools. During the lectures, students learn about the possibilities for incorporating and managing physical activities and physical education at primary and secondary schools, as well as the ontogenesis of motor skills, forms, methods, and procedures for organizing physical education (including the use of AI). The course also includes basic information on: the personality of the physical education teacher, physical culture, kinesiology, and the issue of sports training as a sociocultural phenomenon from the perspective of the formation of didactic concepts. Students will also be introduced to the position of physical education and sport in the cultural development of humanity and their changing roles in various socio-historical conditions.

Students develop methodology and demonstrate the correct use of individual athletic disciplines at primary and secondary schools. As part of the lectures, students develop competencies in the area of skills and knowledge for the classification and management of physical activities and physical education at primary and secondary schools. The teacher explains and demonstrates the ontogenesis of motor skills, forms, methods, and procedures for organization in physical education. Students will be able to use basic didactic terminology related to the personality of a physical education teacher, physical culture, kinesiology, and the issue of sports training as a sociocultural phenomenon from the perspective of forming didactic concepts. Students will be able to identify the position of physical education and sport in the cultural development of humanity and their changing roles in different socio-historical conditions.
