Development of vision. Epidemiology of visual impairment in pre-school age, school age, productive age and in elderly patients. Examination of visual functions and determination of type and extent of functional disorder. Refraction, possibilities of correction of refractiove disorders. Interaction of visual impairment with other senses disability - medical view. Functional perspective of individual types of visual impairment. Possibilities of diagnostic methods in opthalmology. Visual rehabilitation in children (visual therapist or instructor of visual stimulator).

Vývoj vidění. Epidemiologie zrakového postižení v předškolním věku. Epidemiologie zrakového postižení ve školním věku. Epidemiologie zrakového postižení u dospělých pacientů v produktivním věku. Epidemiologie zrakového postižení u starších pacientů. Vyšetření zrakových funkcí a stanovení typu a míry funkční poruchy. Refrakce, možnosti korekce refrakčních vad. Interakce zrakového postižení s postižení ostatních smyslů - medicínský pohled. Funkční perspektiva u jednotlivých typů zrakového postižení. Možnosti vyšetřovacích metod v oftalmologii.
