The course develops students' ability to formulate a problem, state the goals of a thesis, choose adequate procedures and methods, assess the character, value-added and possible use of the results. Students use their theoretical and methodological knowledge, learn the techniques of scientific work and how to use documentation.

Kurz rozvíjí schopnosti studentů formulovat problém, stanovit cíle diplomové práce, zvolit adekvátní postupy a metody zpracování, zvážit charakter výstupů, přínos a event. možnosti využití výsledků. Studenti využívají teoretických a metodologických poznatků, učí se technice vědecké práce a využití dokumentace.
