Annotation -
The seminar will provide methodological and practical support for the concretization and conception of the thesis topic, the layout of the material and the overall processing. The aim of the course is to prepare for writing a thesis. During the seminar, students will present their chosen thesis topics.

The aim of the seminar is to prepare students to write a thesis, i.e. to be able to define the topic, the structure of the thesis and its research questions.

Teaching methods -

The course is taught in seminar form. The lecturer will introduce students to the principles of thesis writing and individual students will then present their thesis topics under the guidance of the lecturer. This will be followed by a discussion of the chosen thesis topics.

2. Presentation of thesis topics related to medieval history

3. Presentation of thesis topics related to modern history

4. Presentation of thesis topics related to modern and contemporary history

After completing the seminar, students will be able to find the topic of their thesis, formulate its main thesis and the methods they will use to write it, as well as the structure it will have.
