The seminar builds on and deepens the knowledge and skills acquired in previous studies. Students work with media representations of the past and transform them into a didactic form. They apply the knowledge gained in the didactics of history.

Cílem semináře je rozvinout schopnosti studentů formulovat konstruktivsticky orientované vzdělávací cíle dějepisu a postupy vedoucí k naplňování těchto cílů. Studenti se učí analyzovat popkulturní zdroje a transformvoat je do podoby výukových jednotek za využití prinicpů historického myšlení a aplikace badatelsky orientované výuky.

Semináíř se bude věnovat reprezentacím minulosti v popkultuře, především ve filmové a televizní produkci, Obsahově se bude orientovat na moderní a soudobé dějiny (19. a 20. století).
