The course presents basic paradigms of health promotion. It defines the issue of health literacy and its development priorities. Health education is a conscious creation of opportunities for learning about ways to promote health and a basis for the necessary changes in behavior. Aim of the course -
  • Introduce students to the basic paradigms of health promotion and their application in education.
  • Explain the issue of health literacy and identify its developmental priorities.
  • Analyze the relationship between physical education and health from a biopsychosocial perspective.
  • Provide students with skills to create opportunities for improving health literacy and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Prepare students for the implementation of a didactic presentation focused on grappling issues within physical activities.

  • Students will describe and explain the basic paradigms of health promotion and their significance in health education.
  • Students will identify key aspects of health literacy and propose strategies for its development.
  • Students will analyze and discuss the relationship between physical education and health from a biopsychosocial perspective.
  • Students will propose and justify approaches for creating opportunities to promote health in an educational environment.
  • Students will prepare and conduct a didactic presentation focused on grappling issues within a selected physical activity, utilizing health promotion principles.
  • Students will apply health promotion principles in practical physical activities, with an emphasis on grappling issues.
