The field practice is focused on consolidating general, special educational, psychological, and speech therapy knowledge and skills in their application in real-life situations of a special educator/speech therapist. Compulsory subjects of field practice are included in all years of the bachelor's study program so that their focus enables the systematic development of student competencies in the areas of special education, speech therapy, and deaf education. Emphasis is placed on gradually increasing the demands on students in practical activities closely linked to the graduate profile. Field practice III is included in the third year of the bachelor's degree program. Students use the theoretical knowledge and professional skills acquired in the core subjects, especially in speech therapy and deaf education. They expand the competencies acquired by completing the subjects of Field Practice I and II with special skills related to the modification of real-life conditions in the context of the comprehensive development of persons with impaired communication abilities and persons with hearing impairments. The content of the subject Professional Practice III consists of continuous practical work by students in selected speech therapy and deaf education workplaces under the supervision of a faculty teacher/mentor (speech therapist). Here, students apply their theoretical knowledge and skills, while also gaining new experience from the reality of the profession. Their practical experience is the subject of personal consultations with their mentor. Following on from the students' activities within Field Practice III, there is a reflection and sharing session.

Předmět má 6 kreditů dle ECTS, celková časová zátěž studenta odpovídá 180 hodinám. Přímá výuka: · cvičení 24 hodin Příprava: · samostudium odborné literatury 60 hodin · oborová praxe, zpracování reflektivních úkolů a příprava na semináře 66 hodin Příprava na zápočet: 30 hodin celkem V případě distanční výuky budeme pracovat v aplikaci MS Teams, studenti obdrží včas odkaz. Student bude navštěvovat školní zařízení, které ve své činnosti uplatňuje logopedickou intervenci. Zapojuje se aktivně do speciálně pedagogických činností a připravuje si materiál pro vlastní práci se žáky. Následuje reflexe praxe, která umožní vzájemně propojovat prakticky ověřené dovednosti, uvádět je do souvislostí s teoretickým základem metod a forem speciálně pedagogického/logopedického působení.
