This subject is taught in Czech. The aim of the seminar is to provide students profound knowledge in the chosen disciplines, necessary for their thesis. The students are informed about the sources and literature in the elected period as well as about the key themes of the field and the newest trends of the research. Under tutoring of their supervisor students develop their knowledge about the given period from the perspective of the historian´s work.

Semináře zaměřené na jednotlivé historické etapy seznamují podrobně s prameny a literaturou ke zvolenému období, stejně jako s klíčovými tématy oboru a nejnovějšími trendy bádání. Pod vedením vedoucího semináře studenti rozvíjejí své znalosti o dané epoše z pohledu historické práce. Podmínkou získání zápočtu v zimním semestru je aktivní práce v semináři.
