The course introduces the basic approaches to the construction of gender identity and difference, conceptual outline of contemporary feminism, with practical application of gender approach in interpreting the relationship and communication problems in families. Presents social construction of gender / genus, radically constructivist approach. The solved themes are gender in family and relationships, gender in the labor market, in the teaching profession. The seminar focuses on ways of reading texts and their interpretation.

Předmět seznamuje se základními přístupy ke konstruování genderové identity a odlišnosti, konceptuální osnovou současného feminismu, s praktickou aplikací genderového přístupu v interpretaci vztahové a komunikační problematiky v rodinách. Předkládá sociální konstrukce gender/rodu, radikálně konstruktivistické pojetí. K řešeným tematickým okruhům patří gender v rodině a partnerských vztazích, gender na trhu práce, v učitelské profesi. Seminář je zaměřen na četbu textů a způsoby jejich interpretace
