In this course, the students develop their oral skills with the emphasis on fluency. They are encouraged to discuss, summarize and express their opinions about selected topics.

Předmět Anglická konverzace II navazuje na Cizí jazyk – angličtina I, II, III. Předpokládaná vstupní úroveň dle Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky je B2. Studenti jsou vedeni k diskusi, ústní sumarizaci probíraných témat a vyjádření vlastního názoru k jejich obsahu. Diskusní témata jsou vybírána na základě anglicky psaného tisku a autentických nahrávek nebo videí (např. BBC). Hlavní kritérium výběru jazykového materiálu představuje jeho aktuálnost, zájmy studentů a spojitost s oblastí vzdělávání.

Aim of the course

English

The aim of this course is to complement the more formally structured English classes with something more experiential.  The main emphasis will be on the fluency, adequacy and enjoyment of conversation and debate with the classmates and the teacher.
