The course extending the course Linear algebra focusing on inner product spaces, bilinear and quadratic forms, normed and metric spaces, eigenvalues and eigenvectors. The gained knowledge and skills belong to the elements useful for further mathematics courses.

Aim of the course -

Subject aiming to acquaint students with these parts of linear algebra that extend the basic course of linear algebra and serve as tools for other mathematical disciplines in teacher training.

Požadavky k zápočtu:
Úspěšné vypracování testu + splnění individuálních požadavků vyučujícího (vypracování zadaných seminárních prací). Pro test jsou možné dva opravné pokusy.



Požadavky ke zkoušce:
Zvládnutí teoretické části a početních dovedností dle určeného rozsahu.

- Vector spaces over the field and their subspaces with applications. Vector spaces with scalar product.
- Matrix over a field, ortogonal matrices, similar matrices. Block matrices.
- Systems of linear equations over a field, linear transofrmations.
- Bilinear and quadratic forms and their matrix representation.
- Linear figures in 3D.
- Further applications.
