The course is a follow up to the Morphology course. It aims to deepen and enhance the students’ understanding of morphological categories. At the same time, it further develops their ability to apply their knowledge of morphology when working with various text types, and in their teaching practice. Topics: 1.Grammatical categories of the English noun (esp. definiteness, countability, and number) 2.Grammatical categories of the English verb (esp. modality, tense, voice, mood, and non-finite verb forms) 3.English adjectives and adverbs 4.Prepositions and conjunctions 5.Complex morphological analysis of a text
