The aim of the course is to further develop the four basic language skills at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This is the fifth stage of a six-semester course. The teaching is based on systematic work with a course-book (see Jones, Bastow and Hird below). There is strong emphasis on accuracy, fluency, clarity and complexity of expression.
