Annotation -
The course introduces students to the teaching profession in the overall context of school operation. In particular, it focuses on teacher-student interactions in the educational process and related non-teaching activities. In the final seminar, students will theoretically reflect on the pedagogical and psychological aspects of teaching in general according to the portfolio assignment.

Aim of the course -
Aim: The learner analyses educational and educational situations in a group from a psychological, social pedagogical and general didactic perspective. The student will compare the knowledge gained about the teaching and non-teaching activities of teachers with the relevant documents. With the support of professional reasoning, the student proposes alternative ways of dealing with practical situations.

Předmět má 4 kredity dle ECTS, celková časová zátěž studenta odpovídá 120 hodinám. Doba očekávané přípravy na 1 hodinu praxe 20 minut, doba očekávané přípravy na 1 hodinu reflexního semináře 30 minut, samostudium literatury (za celý semestr) 20 hodin, práce se studijními materiály (za celý semestr) 6 hodin, plnění průběžných úkolů (za celý semestr) 20 hodin. Seminární práce 12 hodin, příprava na zápočet 10 hodin.

    Completion of Safety Training prior to the internship,
    Proof of completion of the internship,
    Completion of listening and reflection sessions with observation tools,
    completion of tasks assigned by the practice teacher,
    completion and submission of assignments, - Moodle portfolio, peer assessment.

Thematic areas according to the portfolio:
Pedagogical part: pedagogical communication and teaching strategies, pedagogical work of teachers focusing on selected aspects, preparation of the Final reflection.
Psychological part: rules, classroom rules, school rules
Students' activities in school:
1. focused classroom visits
2. analytical analyses of lessons
3. elaboration of analysis according to the portfolio
4. thematic seminars with school staff, interview with class teacher.
5. data collection for the psychological part of the portfolio
