English

The subject comes out of present-day reality of our schools and school institutions and emphasizes the procedures that teacher can use in his everyday work experience. Attention is given to substantial theoretical questions of violence and bullying with accent to its cause in children's collective. Specific methods of preventing and solving school bullying are studied to great detail as well as causes for failure of such preventive and repressive methods. Part of the course is also familiarization with institutional forms of assistance.

Předmět vychází ze současné reality našich škol a školských zařízení a klade důraz na postupy, jež může učitel ve své každodenní praxi uplatnit. Pozornost je věnována podstatným teoretickým otázkám násilí a šikanování s důrazem na příčiny jeho existence v dětských kolektivech. Podrobně jsou probírány konkrétní metody prevence a strategie řešení šikany, jakož i příčiny selhávání preventivních a represivních postupů. Součástí je též seznámení s institucionálními formami pomoci.

Using knowledge in the field of violence and bullying, the student will assess and analyze model situations of bullying in children groups, propose a suitable solution procedure and appropriate prevention.
