The main goal of this course is to teach students to gain information specific for chemistry and its education from different fields, elaborate this information and accordingly present the results. The goal of the course is to introduce students to databases, specifics of "chemical" typography, work with scientific texts and methodology of making presentations. During the course, students learn how to work with references and civilized way of their saving, citation ethics, they master work with a software enabling work with citations, deepen their user skills with the MS Office package and other tools for making presentations and, above all, students contribute to the creative spirit of the course.

Stěžejním cílem tohoto kurzu je naučit studenty získávat informace specifické pro chemii a její výuku z různých informačních zdrojů, tyto informace zpracovávat a výsledky prezentovat odpovídajícím způsobem. Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty s databázeni, zvláštnostmi "chemické" typografie, prací s odbornými texty a metodikou tvorby prezentací. V průběhu výuky se posluchači seznámí s odbornými zdroji informací, možnostmi jejich civilizovaného uchovávání, citační etikou, osvojí si práci se softwarem usnadňujícím práci s citacemi, prohloubí své uživatelské znalosti práce s balíkem MS Office, osvojí si další nástroje pro tvorbu prezentací a v neposlední řadě se řádně přidají k utváření tvůrčího ducha celého předmětu.
