Propedeutics of Mathematics is based on conception of child`s personal development in kindergardens. The course is focussed on building tools which teachers can use to develop personality of child to respect his/her abilities and to respect requirements of contemporary conception of mathematics at the 1st grade of primary school. At the end of this course a student should be able to analyse different activities of child from the point of view of his/her abilities which are develope in games and which participate in learning process in school mathematics. The student should be able to observe and analyse child`s behaviour, to carry out partial experiments and to create therapeutic activities.

Vytvoření funkčního zásobníku her k různým tématickým skupinám a skupinám schopností dítěte, které je třeba rozvíjet, skupinám znalostí a zkušeností, které je nutné budovat; rozvoj didaktického myšlení. Mathematical proposition as complete information, truth and its evaluation, self-evaluation, cognition etc. Creation of propositions, their types and use in communication, in games, in the teacher's work. Substitution. The meaning of negation. The generalising process, regularities, pre-functional thinking. Reasoning and argumentation. The concept development process of natural numbers, different roles of numbers. Number in various pedagogical movements. Work with pupils with special needs. Integration of children. Comparision of quantities and numbers. Numbers and numerals, a way to a graphic sign in mathematics. A way to word problems. A way to problem solving. Development of alternative thinking, possibilites, possible-sure, elements of probabiltiy in games and in language, activities based on combinatoric. Use of new technologies.
