Kurz seznamující studenty s problematikou historické regionalistiky, s jejím vývojem od renesančních monografií po barokní popisy Čech. Předmětem přednášek jsou dále jednotlivé oblasti lidské činnosti v regionech od správní problematiky, přes vývoj osídlení, až po např. vývoj dopravy. Součástí kurzu jsou exkurze ve vybraných regionech.
