English

The seminar focuses on practising vocabulary (collocations, idiomatic expressions, phrasal verbs etc.), consolidating and practical application of grammatical knowledge in both oral and written interaction, and bettering pronunciation. Students improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Seminář je zaměřen na procvičování slovní zásoby (kolokace, idiomatické výrazy, frázová slovesa aj.), praktickou aplikaci poznatků z gramatiky v mluveném i psaném projevu i na zlepšení výslovnosti. Studenti se zdokonalují v poslechu, mluvení, čtení i psaní.

Course completion requirements

Attendance (no more than 1 missed class)

A test containing the language covered in units 7 - 8 of the textbook as well as additional vocabulary and grammar points discussed in class. 100% - 90% = A, 89% - 80% = B, 79% - 70% = C, max. 2 retakes.
