The course gives an introduction to embedded and real-time systems. It covers the basic theory and concepts,
scheduling,
design, communication and distributed embedded real-time systems.
The course assumes basic knowledge in operating systems and C-language programming.

The credit is awarded for successfully completed and submitted term project. The exam has a form of written test. The resulting mark is determined based on the quality of the homework (max. 60 points) and points from the exam test (max. 40 points).
