2) Random event, probability.

3) Conditional probability, independent events, examples.

4) Random variable, its distribution and characteristics. Important

distributions.

5) Estimates of characteristics of a random variable. Weak law of

large numbers.

6) Hypotheses testing. Statistics in experimental science.
