Annotation -
The creation, utilization and testing of professional numerical software. Basic knowledge of numerical methods is required. Freely distributed numerical software will be used for exercises.

The course gives students a knowledge of existing numerical software, its creation, utilization, testing and assessment of obtained results.

Base of computer arithmetics.

Principles of adaptive methods.

Automatic numerical integration, theory and practice.

Base and principles of numerical software for partial differential equations, finite element methods.

Practice: creation of own software for a elementary tasks, use of free software for numerical integration.
