3. Characteristic polynomials, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices. Jordan structure of a matrix.

4. Linear forms and dual spaces.

5. Bilinear and quadratic forms, polar bases. Unitary spaces, orthogonality.

6. Quadratic forms, Sylvestr's law of inertia.

7. Vector spaces with a scalar product.
