Syllabus -

Fundamentals of mathematical logic, sets, mappings, rational and real numbers, supremum. functions of one real variable, limits, continuity, first and higher derivatives. Elementary functions, mean value theorem and its consequences. Maxima and minima. Primitive functions, indefinite integral. Integration by parts and by substitution. Integration of rational and irrational functions. Riemann's definite integral, existence theorems.
