An outline of legal regulations in data protection data, information technology and systems, including responsibility in civil law and common law. During lectures, all relevant legal and some sublegal norms will be presented. Some aspects of international law, especially of EU common law, will be also treated.

Legal frame of data protection (relevant norms from civil law and common law), overview of legal norms - legal norms concerning information storage, information systems, computer programs, personal data etc. Personal, factual and local effect of chosen legal norms. Informatics in public administration. Documentation, databases, electronic documents and electronic signatures (broader context of legal regulation). Creation, building and running of documentation with use of computers from legal point of view. Legal validity of documents processed by computers. Exemplary law UNCITRAL. Regulations of EU concerning digital signature. Digital Signature Act in the Czech Republic. Protection of personal data in the Czech law system. Protection of Personal Data Act and scope of Administration for Protection of Personal Data. Information technology and relevant legal relations. Computer criminality and "fact of the case" in several chosen crimes.
