Syllabus -

Historical development of the discipline, structure of atmospheric electrical field, air ionisation, aeroionts and their classification, ionization equilibrium equations, electrical conductivity of air, its vertical profile and daily course, electrical potential in atmosphere, atmospheric electrical currents, variations of vertical gradient of electrical potential electrical parameters of air and meteorological effects.

Electrical structure of stratiform clouds, electrical charges in Cb, electrical field of Cb and its variations, point discharges, lightnings, atmospherics, thunderstorm location, electrical charge in precipitation, bilance of electrical charge of the earth surface and atmosphere.
