The aim of the lecture course is an introduction to problems of seismic wave propagation in real anisotropic structures and to modern methods of studying seismic anisotropy observed in geological structures. The course should extend knowledge in properties of seismic waves in complex structures needed in modern applications to studying the Earth's structure and the earthquake source.
