Current theory of animation (2 hrs)
Basics of 3D graphics and animation (4 hrs) - (The student will gain basic knowledge about working in 3D software, navigate various 3D programs, and understand the differences in the suitability of their use)
Basics of 3D modeling - (The student is thoroughly familiar with the process of 3D modeling of characters / objects)
Lighting and effects - (The student is thoroughly familiar with the issue of lighting 3D objects and scenes)
Basics and principles of 3D animation - (The student is thoroughly familiar with the procedures in 3D animation)
Game interface, typography, etc. (2 hrs)
Game interface - (The student will learn to create graphic design proposals with consideration for their functionality, using specific examples)
Responsive design - (The student is familiar with the issue of responsiveness of the game interface)
Practical exercise - design of your own game interface (2 hrs) - (The student, with the assistance of the teacher, will design a simple game interface - menu, in-game controls, typography, etc., and describe its functionality)
Analysis of the artistic processing of current AAA games (2 hrs) - (The student is familiarized with current graphic trends in computer games from large studios)
Motion Capture - visit to a specialized workplace (2 hrs)
Analysis of the artistic processing of current independent games (2 hrs) - (The student is familiarized with current graphic trends in computer games from small or independent studios, independent developers, etc.)
Case study - Amanita Design, analysis of a specific development model (2 hrs) - (The student is familiarized with a specific game project that is currently being developed in one of the game studios)
Practical exercise - game analysis (2 hrs) - (The student will complete their own textual analysis of a computer game of their choice, approximately 3 standard pages in length)
Secondary graphics - graphics associated with game promotion
Trailers, teasers, work in progress presentations - lecture (3 hrs) - (The student will learn to understand the complexity of working with graphic - artistic material outside the game itself. They understand the importance of its use for promotional, marketing, and general communication purposes.)
Practical exercise - creation of your own promotional material (5 hrs) - (The student will prepare promotional material for their game project)
