An introductory course to set theory. Historical background, axioms of ZFC, inclusion, intersection, difference, pairs, cartesian product, relation, function. Ordering, well-ordering, ordinal and cardinal numbers. Cantor-Bernstein theorem, Konig's inequality. Axiom of choice, elements of infinitary combinatorics, Ramsey theorem.

Historické pozadí vzniku teorie množin, zdůvodnění její axiomatické výstavby.

Axiomy teorie množin.

Inkluse, sjednocení, průnik, diference, dvojice, kartézský součin, relace, funkce.

Uspořádání, dobré uspořádání, ordinální čísla, přirozená čísla, základy ordinální aritmetiky.

Spočetné a nespočetné množiny, kardinální čísla, Cantor-Bernsteinova věta, kardinální aritmetika.

Třídy a relace, princip transfinitní indukce a rekurse.

Konigova nerovnost, mocnění kardinálních čísel.

Axiom výběru a jeho ekvivalenty.

Racionální a reálná čísla.

Základy nekonečné kombinatoriky, stacionární množiny, Ramseyova věta.
